Amazonas realiza primeiro Festival de Circo de 2 a 7 de outubro

Programação inclui espetáculos, oficinas e inicia com uma palestra do ator Marcos Frota

O Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura e Economia Criativa, realiza o primeiro Festival de Circo do Amazonas, a partir do sábado (02/10) até o dia 7 de outubro, com espetáculos e oficinas em Manaus. A programação inicia com uma palestra do ator e produtor cultural Marcos Frota. A programação é gratuita (confira).

O secretário de Cultura e Economia Criativa, Marcos Apolo Muniz, afirma que o evento era uma demanda da classe e um compromisso da gestão do governador Wilson Lima.

“Desde o começo desta gestão, temos conversado com todas as categorias e segmentos artísticos, no intuito de encontrar formas de atender melhor a todos. Não foi diferente com o segmento circense. O primeiro Festival de Circo do Amazonas vai reunir diversos artistas em diferentes pontos de Manaus para apresentar e celebrar a arte do circo, que é tão antiga e está sempre se renovando. Esperamos que o público possa apreciar nossos artistas”, declara.

A programação inicia com um workshop do ator, produtor cultural e circense Marcos Frota, sobre o novo lugar do circo brasileiro, no sábado, das 10h ao meio-dia, no Circus Marcos Frota, localizado na avenida Belmiro Vianez, s/nº, bairro Alvorada.

De acordo com o ator, a palestra vai discutir também a atividade circense e a carreira do artista de circo no setor cultural. As inscrições podem ser feitas neste link: https://forms.gle/r4iGodDHdD1Jov9b6.

“Estarei presente para destacar a importância do circo na retomada de atividades presenciais na área da cultura, mas, principalmente, sobre o protagonismo que o circo tem neste momento da vida cultural em todo o nosso país”, revela Frota.

Apresentações – No fim de semana em que se inicia o evento serão realizadas apresentações no Largo de São Sebastião, com o espetáculo de rua do projeto “Roda na Praça”, no sábado (02/10), e com o espetáculo “Ensaio Geral”, de Klindson Cruz, no domingo (03/10), ambos às 17h30.

A atriz, produtora cultural e palhaça Ana Oliveira, coordenadora do “Roda na Praça” – projeto independente desenvolvido por vários artistas locais –, explica que o espetáculo reúne números variados da arte circense, como palhaçaria, malabares, truques de mágica, entre outros. Ana acredita que o festival vai mobilizar o público a se interessar mais pela arte do circo no estado.

“O circo é muito diverso, então é muito importante poder abranger todas as linguagens e possibilidades do fazer circense, que vai desde o mais tradicional até artistas de rua, ou até para quem está saindo do teatro e pesquisando sobre o circo. Todos podem celebrar essa arte milenar”, ressalta Ana.

A programação até o dia 7 de outubro ainda conta com performances da Associação dos Artistas Circenses, Artistas do Circo Ramito, o projeto “Roda na Praça” e Grupo Cacompanhia.

As apresentações serão realizadas em diversos pontos da cidade, como o Centro Cultural Barravento, no bairro Praça 14; o Amazon Master Circus, no bairro Aleixo; e o Ramito Circo, no estacionamento do Shopping Via Norte. O encerramento do festival será no Teatro Amazonas.

Para participar das apresentações e oficinas, o público deverá apresentar a carteira de vacinação com duas doses, ou dentro do intervalo para a aplicação da segunda dose. Os locais também permitirão a entrada até 75% da capacidade, conforme decreto do Governo do Amazonas.

Oficinas – Entre as atividades formativas, ainda estão incluídas oficinas de Monociclo, que acontece no sábado (02/10), com a artista circense venezuelana Teffy Rojas; de Malabares, no domingo (03/10),  com Denys Cauper, licenciado em Teatro pela Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA) e integrante do projeto “Roda na Praça”; além de Tecido, com o bailarino, performer e artista circense, José Arenas; de Lira Circense, com a bailarina, atriz, acrobata e palhaça Francine Marie, e a oficina de Handstand, com o artista, produtor cultural e educador Jean Winder.
